LE « BEST STUDENT PAPER AWARD » REVIENT À… DUC-TRI VO
Duc Tri VO, a second year PhD candidate at LCIS, has obtained the Best Student Paper Award at the 20th International Conference on Informatics in Control, Automation and Robotics (ICINCO) held in Rome, Italy from 13 to 15 November 2023 for the paper:
Nonlinear Model Predictive Control for Uranium Extraction-Scrubbing Operation in Spent Nuclear Fuel Treatment Process
Duc-Tri Vo, Ionela Prodan, Laurent Lefèvre, Vincent Vanel, Sylvain Costenoble and Binh Dinh
The full paper can be found here: https://arxiv.org/pdf/2309.05545.pdf
Duc Tri undergoes a CIFRE thesis at LCIS in collaboration with CEA Marcoule and ORANO where the main objective is to develop and experimentally test an advance control technique, in particular, Model Predictive Control, for the uranium extraction scrubbing cycles of a hydro-metallurgical spent nuclear fuel treatment process. His thesis is supervised by Ionela Prodan and Laurent Lefevre from CO4SYS team of LCIS and Vincent Vanel, Sylvain Costenoble from CEA Marcoule.
Duc Tri is a very motivated PhD candidate, very pleasant to work with and dedicated to keeping up with the excellent work during the rest of his thesis.
20th International Conference on Informatics in Control, Automation and Robotics held in Rome, Italy from 13 to 15 November 2023
The purpose of the International Conference on Informatics in Control, Automation and Robotics (ICINCO) was to bring together researchers, engineers and practitioners interested in the application of informatics to Control, Automation and Robotics. Four simultaneous tracks were held, covering Intelligent Control Systems, Optimization, Robotics, Automation, Signal Processing, Sensors, Systems Modelling and Control, and Industrial Informatics. Informatics applications are pervasive in many areas of Control, Automation and Robotics. This conference emphasized this connection https://icinco.scitevents.org/?y=2023.
